Information we receive
When you contact us by email, telephone or WhatsApp, we receive the information you choose to give us. This may include your name, organisation, contact details, property address, photographs and details of proposed work. Please do not send payment details or sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.
How we use your information
We use this information to answer questions, discuss requirements, prepare quotations and arrange or deliver agreed work. For business enquiries, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence and managing business relationships. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, or we deliver that contract, we rely on taking those steps or performing the contract. We also keep records where needed to meet legal and accounting obligations.
Service providers and sharing
Microsoft 365 provides our business email. If you choose WhatsApp, that service processes your messages under its own privacy terms. The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites using Cloudflare infrastructure; hosting providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to serve and secure the website. We may share information needed for agreed work with relevant contractors, and with professional advisers or authorities where necessary.
These providers may process information outside the UK. The safeguards that apply depend on the provider and service, such as applicable adequacy arrangements or contractual safeguards. Contact us for details about the providers used for your enquiry.
Retention
We retain correspondence while it is needed to respond to your enquiry, follow up a quotation or manage agreed work. Relevant contractual and accounting records may be kept longer to meet legal obligations or address disputes. The period depends on the nature of the record, any continuing business relationship and applicable legal requirements. You can ask us about the information we hold about your enquiry.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access or correct your information, request deletion, restrict or object to its use, or receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it. Rights are subject to applicable conditions and exemptions. Contact us to make a request or raise a concern. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies and external links
Our website code does not use analytics, advertising trackers, embedded maps, third-party fonts or browser storage. It has no online submission form. Email, phone and WhatsApp links open the service you choose; those services have their own privacy and cookie information. Hosting infrastructure may process technical requests for delivery and security.
Automated decisions and changes
We do not use this website to make automated decisions about people. We will update this notice if the website or our enquiry arrangements change.
